Melania Powell is a Tax Partner and the Northwest Arkansas Tax Practice Leader. She advises business owners and high net worth individuals on complex tax matters, including transaction planning, business structuring, and long-term tax strategy. Melania works closely with leadership teams to help navigate significant business decisions and develop tax-efficient solutions that support growth and long-term value. Her work focuses heavily on clients in the real estate and manufacturing industries, and she also advises businesses in construction, retail, restaurants, and engineering and architecture. Melania regularly works with clients on complex partnership structures, transactions, and strategic tax planning as their businesses grow and evolve
As the tax lead for the Northwest Arkansas market, Melania works with growing businesses and their advisors on matters involving acquisitions, transactions, and long-term ownership planning.
Melania is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and both the Arkansas and Oklahoma Societies of Certified Public Accountants. She graduated magna cum laude from Missouri Southern State University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and earned her Master of Accountancy from the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas.
