Kim provides assurance services to a wide range of investment companies and related investment structures. She serves as the leader of the firm’s highly specialized Collective Investment Funds (CIFs) practice, which provides services to hundreds of common and collective trust funds sponsored by large trust companies and financial institutions. Many of these investment companies utilize complex financial instruments and specialized valuation methodologies. Kim’s technical expertise in investment accounting, financial reporting, and regulatory considerations brings significant value to clients.
Prior to joining HoganTaylor in 2001, Kim began her career with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLC, where she led audit engagements for a broad range of private and publicly-held companies.

- Leads audit engagements and Form 5500 preparation services for investment companies, including CIFs
- Prepares investment company financial statements for clients and assists management in coordination with independent auditors throughout the reporting process
- Assisted with audit procedures related to SEC filings and an initial public offering
