Mary Carol joined HoganTaylor in 2016 and is a manager in the firm’s Risk Assurance practice. She leads System and Organization Controls (SOC) engagements and provides compliance and internal control advisory services to clients across multiple industries. Mary Carol has significant experience with SOC 1 and SOC 2 examinations, working closely with management teams to evaluate control environments, perform testing procedures, and strengthen internal control frameworks.
She advises service organizations on navigating complex compliance requirements and building practical, sustainable control processes that support their business operations.
Mary Carol holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Arkansas and a Master of Accountancy from the University of Central Arkansas. She is a Certified Public Accountant.
Mary Carol primarily works remotely from Northwest Arkansas.
